Walking with God is life's greatest adventure!
Our desire is to walk with God through a positive, encouraging, relevant, and authentic relationship with Him and with others.

Music and Worship

Worship at Adventure is best described as "contemporary." Our praise bands and praise teams lead the people in lively, upbeat singing as well as quiet, reflective, prayerful songs. The music at Adventure of Faith consists of a blend of mostly contemporary worship songs with some traditional hymns mixed in.

Children and Worship

Children are welcome in the main worship service!  Alternately, children ages 5th grade and below are welcome to join in Adventure:Kids classes. This includes nursery care for babies birth-18 months, and classes in our downstairs children's ministry area for kids ages 18 months-5th grade.

What do I wear?

The dress code at Adventure is informal. Some men wear ties, some women wear dresses, and a lot of us worship in  jeans and converse.

Messages in your language

Our messages are designed to be relevant and meaningful to everyday people. You'll hear positive, practical, encouraging messages that deal with real issues we all face.

Baptism

We believe that baptism is a means of grace and is effective. It is not merely a symbol. It is not effective in the removal of sin, but is effective in uniting the believer to the church and the body of Christ. God in the Holy Spirit make baptism effective at the time of God’s own choosing. Baptism is for all ages and any mental ability because it is not about recognizing an individual’s decision (though it must involve that for adults), but is about claiming the promises of God for inclusion in his people.

Communion

Communion is normally celebrated the first Sunday of each month at all worship services.

Offering

We believe in biblical generosity with our time, talents and treasure. Adventure is able to serve our congregation and community because we are joyful and generous with our God-given treasures. We do not pass an offering plate during our worship services. Instead, there are offering boxes located by the exit doors in both the Worship and Friendship Centers. Also, online giving is appreciated and available at any time HERE.
