Adventure:Equip

Adventure: Equip is how Adventure of Faith Church seeks to continue the tradition of prioritizing biblical literacy, practical theology, and spiritual practices like the early church. These are Sunday morning classes that focus on helping followers of Jesus to grow in their understanding of the Bible, doctrine, theology, and practice. They are participatory courses done in biblical community. From those just beginning their adventure with Jesus to those who have traveled far with Him, there is a place for you, and we hope you'll join us as we pursue Jesus together.

Cairn: Guiding the Way 
(Conference Room)
A Cairn is a pile of stones made as a guide to mark or help remember the way. People will often add stones to existing cairns. Together, our class will explore and build on the previous week's sermon, seeking to find the way scripture is leading us and applying it to our lives. Come and walk with us.

5.1 Hear, Listen & Respond
(Room 104)
If you are looking to grow in your approach to reading the Bible, this class is for you.  This session of Equip we are continuing to dive into how God taught us to pray through study of the scripture and the Hebrew language. We are going to be using The Bible Project resources as we learn to deepen our understanding of how to relate to our God.  Whether you have been a believer for a long time or are newer in the faith, this class is intended to spur you toward a greater faith through a closer walk with our God and our community here at Adventure. This class is for those as young as 6th grade through all ages & seasons of adults.  Hope to see you there!

Adventure:Equip KIDS
(Downstairs in Adventurers Classroom)
Adventure:Equip Kids is an extra opportunity for kids to grow in their relationship with Jesus and each other while their parents dig deeper in Adventure:Equip classes. Open to kids preschool aged-5th grade whose parents/guardians are in Adventure:Equip classes.

If you have a baby or toddler and would like to attend an Adventure:Equip class and need assistance in care, please contact Callie ahead of time.

Kids in 5th grade and below are also welcome to join their parents/guardians in Adventure:Equip classes as appropriate. If you aren’t sure what would be the best place for your child, please let Callie know and she would be happy to discuss the options with you.
