Join the Adventure!
Walking with God is life's greatest adventure! We want to walk with God through a positive, encouraging, relevant, and authentic relationship with Him and with others. We offer two distinct worship celebrations each week. "The Heart of Adventure" meets at 9:00 am each Sunday for contemporary worship that regularly includes a touch of tradition. "The Edge of Adventure" meets at 10:45 for worship on the cutting edge.
Music and worship
Worship at Adventure is best described as "contemporary." Our praise bands and praise teams lead the people in lively, upbeat singing as well as quiet, reflective, prayerful songs. Hymns and choral music are often blended into the "Heart of Adventure" services.
Child care and Children's classes
Your small children are cared for during our services and special events by loving and well-trained care-givers in our church nursery. "Adventureland" offers classes for pre-schoolers , and "KidStuf" offers a high energy Bible time for elementary aged children at both 9:00 and 10:45.
What do I wear?
The dress code at Adventure is informal. Some men wear ties, some women wear dresses, and a lot of us worship in Dockers, and many in "The Edge" prefer jeans.
Messages in your language
You don't need a Latin or Greek dictionary to worship at Adventure. Our messages are designed to be relevant and meaningful to everyday people. You'll hear positive, practical, encouraging messages that deal with real issues we all face.
Baptism and Communion
Communion is normally celebrated the first Sunday of each month at all worship services, as well as on other special days. The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated when those who have not been previously baptized become members, and when requested by actively participating parents on behalf of their children.
