Sunday Worship Schedule - 9:30 and 11:00 am

This NEXT ≥ STEP is the most important step you will ever take in this life. In the Bible, and in our lives, over and over again, we see people choose to follow Jesus. Here’s what they do:

  • They BELIEVE in Jesus.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
– John 3:16
  • They CONFESS this belief, admitting – to themselves and others – that this is what they believe.
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. – Romans 10:9
  • They REPENT – not gaining perfect lives, but choosing to turn to a new way.
Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.
–2 Corinthians 7:10
  • They are BAPTIZED
Some who choose to follow Jesus have already been baptized, perhaps as infants. We believe that baptism was a sign, in advance, of what God was going to do to bring you to Him. Others have never been baptized, and Scripture encourages those new followers to be baptized.

And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.
– Acts 22:16

If you are ready to take this life-transforming step of becoming a follower of Jesus, here is a suggested prayer you can pray:

Dear Jesus, thank you for making me and loving me, even when I’ve ignored you and gone my own way. I realize I need you in my life and I’m sorry for my sins. I ask you to forgive me. Thank you for dying on the cross for me. Please help me to understand it more. As much as I know how, I want to follow you from now on. Please come into my life and make me a new person inside. I accept your gift of salvation. Please help me to grow as a Christian.”

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”  (Rom 10:13 NIV)

Don't forget to share your decision with a Christian friend!
