Sunday Worship - On Facebook live Sunday 10:00 am. Physical building is closed.

Health Letter

Hello Adventure Family,

These are unprecedented times we are experiencing. As you have likely heard, all schools in the South Kitsap School District will be closed beginning Monday, March 16, 2020, for a period of six weeks due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

We invite you to view our service on our Adventure of Faith Youtube channel and be on the lookout for us live casting our services on Facebook at 10:00 am on Sunday.  At this time we will not be hosting "in-person" services until it is determined safe to do so.

BaseCamp will not be meeting for the next three weeks and then will reevaluate what the Spring session will look like.

We are committed to both safety and to not neglect meeting together for worship, education, and fellowship at Adventure of Faith. The staff at Adventure have been preparing for this scenario for the past several days and have worked out a plan to continue our worship for the duration. It is our commitment to face this situation head-on, to adapt and to overcome any obstacles that we may face as we seek to best honor God and protect our community.

To do this, however, we must ask you to partner with us. We are aware that these are trying times for everyone and that plans will need to change and priorities adjusted to accommodate this state of emergency. First, we ask you to please stay in contact with us. Our desire is for every person in our church family to be ministered to so we ask you to keep us posted on how your family is doing during this time. If you require support, please reach out. If you know of people who might need support, reach out and check in on them. We are a church family who are committed to loving, serving, and praying for each and every one of our Adventure families.

And finally, we ask you to be in prayer:

  • Pray diligently for those who are ill, vulnerable to illness, and their families.
  • Pray for those who are serving and providing care both in this country and around the world Pray for the government, public health leaders, and for those who are working steadfastly for the healing of everyone affected.
  • Pray for our church and our community.

This is an opportunity for our Adventure families to demonstrate for our community faithfulness in the face of adversity, hope in the midst of hardship, and sacrificial love for the sake of our community. This is also an opportunity to demonstrate to the watching world, all of our neighbors and friends who don't know Jesus, the peace that our Savior brings. May He be glorified as we turn our eyes on Him during this season.

Grace and Peace,

Adventure of Faith Church
