Frequently Asked Questions

When are the church's services?

We have two services every Sunday morning at 9:00 and 11:00.

What should I wear?

Wear what you like to wear. Most people dress casual.

What are your services like?

Adventure's services focus mostly on worship through music and a message from the pastor.

We’ll share some announcements during the morning, sing songs, and hear a teaching from the Bible. The music is mostly contemporary in style, although you may experience one of our choirs, a hymn, or music of a different style at any given service.

The Heart of Adventure (9:00) features mainstream contemporary Christian music with a touch of tradition.

The Edge of Adventure (11:00) is also contemporary, with a little more edge.

If you need personal prayer, prayer teams are always available after every service at the front of the worship center.

Coffee and refreshments are available throughout the morning in our Cafe.

Will I have to say anything, sign anything, or be singled out?

Rest assured that you won't be put on the spot, singled-out, or embarrassed. Though we do receive an offering, we don't want anyone to feel obligated to give. We have a guest packet filled with information about our church that you might find helpful. Pick one up at the Information Center.

What about my kids?

A well-staffed nursery is available during both services for babies and toddlers. The nursery is located right behind the worship center, just across the hall.

Our pre-school program (ages 2 - Pre K) is available during both services. Kids meet downstairs in "Adventureland."

KidStuf is our program for children grades K-6. Drama and small groups are utilized to present Bible stories and teach Christian values in ways that are relevant to kids. KidStuf meets during both services.

Teens worship with adults on Sundays, and have their own meetings during the week.

For your peace of mind: All our staff are trained and have had a law-enforcement background check. All children must be "signed in" by a parent or guardian when they arrive and "signed out" by the same person before they leave.
