A BaseCamp is not a destination…
…its not a place you stay. It is a place you are equipped,
where you're trained, you're encouraged,
where you ask questions and get support,
where you get help finding your way.
It’s a place where your wounds are bandaged, and your spirit is refreshed.
It’s a place you return to in order to be equipped
so you can be sent back out on the trail again.
Our goal at Basecamp is to equip and encourage people by providing space to meet with others to teach and be taught and to try out ministries in a safe space. This name isn’t just cosmetic- it is a reminder of why this midweek program exists- not as a destination but as a place where we gather before we are scattered out into the mission field of our jobs, our homes, our families, our neighborhoods and our schools.
It’s a place for everybody, for anybody, seeking to know who God is and what His plan is for their lives. We hope you’ll join us. The mission is great, and the workers are few…
...Gear up, Let's go!
On Wednesdays, the night begins at 4:45 pm with the children's performing arts group. This is for ages 7-13 and is a group that sings in a choir, makes videos, acts in plays, skits, and musicals, as well as many other things. If you have children, who are interested contact Don Dilly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Dinner is at 5:15 for everyone! It's a delicious dinner prepared by loving hands who are glad to serve you! There are often fun activities going on at Dinner and different guests visiting to share with us how God is working in our community. Be sure to be there on time so you can be a part of the fun! Visitors eat free!
After dinner, we all head to our age-specific programming- LifeGroups for adults, Adventure:Kids for kids aged birth-5th grade, and Trek for 6th-12th graders. There are many LifeGroups to choose from, ones for Moms, Men, Women, classes on financial management, and various Bible studies. Feel free to try some out!
